Froely needs a shoutout
Tried it out and have a few notes.
- I liked the drawings a lot, and the characters are cute!
- There is no way of taking damage in story mode, since the asteroids do not come directly towards the ship. Also, when they do hit the sprite, they just move through it.
- I encountered a bug with the text display. When I pressed the spacebar to advance, it sometimes skipped over some lines.
- I don't see the difference between the story and endless mode, aside from the score.
- The game is lacking a game loop to engage with.
- The sensitivity is way too high when using the arrow keys; I would have liked to change that. Also missing a pause option/menu. But I see these features are coming soon :).
- Lastly, the music is super fun!! Omg
Thanks for playing and commenting! The story mode isn't finished yet haha so a lot of stuff is still missing (like the core gameplay loop lol) I'll keep your notes in mind when I keep working on it :)
(also the music isn't mine btw! It's from Turbowarp's sound library, but I'm glad you liked it!)
